How can we help?

Everything about setting up and running CardSync. Can't find your answer? Email support@cardsync.pro β€” we respond within one business day.

πŸš€ Getting started

Find CardSync on the Shopify App Store and click Install. Shopify will show the permissions CardSync needs (products, inventory, publishing) β€” approve, and the app opens right inside your Shopify admin. Setup takes under a minute: pick your default markup, your condition ratios and your currency, and you're ready to list.
Just a Shopify store on any plan. No Collectr account is required β€” CardSync's partnership includes the market data. If you sell in a currency other than USD, have your exchange rate in mind (you set it once in Settings).
Open CardSync β†’ Add product β†’ type the card name (e.g. "Umbreon VMAX"). Pick the exact card from the results β€” image, set, rarity and card number are shown so you can't pick wrong. Review the generated price, adjust markup or quantity if you like, hit Publish. The product appears in your store, live and purchasable.
No. CardSync only manages products it created (they carry a cardsync tag). Your existing catalog is never read, modified or re-priced.

πŸƒ Listings

Title (structured and SEO-friendly), description, official card image, franchise, set name, rarity, card number, condition variants, and the current market price. All card facts are also written as structured metafields for filtering and theme use.
Yes β€” booster boxes, ETBs, bundles and other sealed items are in the catalog and detected automatically. Sealed products list as single-variant products (no condition tiers) with live market pricing like any single.
Everything is a normal Shopify product β€” edit anything in your admin. Note that the price of a synced product is re-derived on each daily sync; to take manual control of the price, switch the product to manual mode first.
From real card data in a consistent pattern β€” name, set, number, rarity β€” so search engines and customers instantly understand the product. A template builder is coming that lets you define your own composition rules store-wide.
Everything in the Collectr catalog β€” over a million items across PokΓ©mon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Disney Lorcana, sports cards and more. New sets appear shortly after release.

🎯 Pricing & markup

One transparent formula: NM market price Γ— condition ratio Γ— (1 + markup %) Γ— currency multiplier.

Example: market price $100, Lightly Played ratio 85%, markup 15%, currency USD β†’ $100 Γ— 0.85 Γ— 1.15 Γ— 1 = $97.75. You set the ratios and markup once; every price follows.
Yes. Your store has a default markup; any product can override it at listing time or later. Chase cards at +25%, bulk staples at +10% β€” your call, per product.
Market data is Near Mint. You define what LP, MP, HP and DMG are worth as percentages of NM (sensible defaults included: 85/65/40/20%). Each condition becomes a variant with its own derived price and inventory.
Set your currency multiplier once in Settings (e.g. 3.6725 for AED, or your preferred EUR rate) and every derived price converts automatically. You control the rate β€” set it at mid-market, add a buffer, whatever fits your business.
No. Market prices are informational reference data. You set the rules and the final retail price is always yours.

πŸ”„ Price sync

Once a day, automatically, shortly after Collectr's market refresh (late morning US Eastern β€” early evening in Europe, overnight for APAC). No configuration needed.
Yes β€” Sync prices now on the dashboard runs a full sync for your store on demand and reports what changed.
After every sync, the dashboard shows your biggest price movements β€” which cards jumped, which dipped, old vs. new price. It doubles as a buying signal: you see demand shifts in your own inventory first.
Switch it to manual mode (at listing time or any time after). Its price freezes, the live-market badge turns off, and daily sync skips it until you re-enable.
Your prices simply stay as they are β€” CardSync never guesses, zeroes or breaks a price. The sync retries on the next run and the sync log shows exactly what was and wasn't updated.

πŸ’³ Plans & billing

A product with live price sync enabled. Manual-mode products don't count against your plan cap β€” only cards on autopilot do.
Through Shopify, on your normal Shopify invoice. No separate payment details, no external subscriptions. Upgrades and downgrades are prorated by Shopify automatically.
Existing synced products keep syncing β€” nothing breaks. You just can't enable sync on additional products until you upgrade or free up slots by switching products to manual.
Downgrade to Free anytime from the plan page, or uninstall the app β€” Shopify stops billing immediately either way. Your products remain in your store exactly as they are; they simply stop price-syncing.

πŸ”’ Data & privacy

Only what the app needs to run: your store domain, your settings (markup, ratios, currency), and sync statistics (run history, price changes) for your dashboard. CardSync requests no access to customer data at all.
Everything is deleted automatically β€” sessions, settings and sync history are purged when Shopify notifies us of the uninstall, in line with GDPR and Shopify's data-protection requirements. Your products stay in your store, untouched.
Yes. CardSync implements all of Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks, stores no customer personal data, and purges shop data on uninstall and redaction requests. Details in our privacy policy.
